2 harvityharvharvharv 02.15.09 at 5:32 am: No. The easiest way is either to use a solar power panel to power something entirely separately, or use a heat exchanger to preheat water for your home, which uses solar energy without any expensive panels or wiring. It is easier to concentrate sunlight on a pipe to heat it up than it is to make electricity from it; solar ovens are another method to use the sun with having to use solar panels.
